Saharan attributed the loss to "rash shots" played by the Indian batsmen and their inability to spend significant time at the crease. Reflecting on the match, he stated, "We played a few shots and couldn't spend some time on the surface. We were prepared for it, but we couldn't execute well. That is where we went wrong."

Despite the defeat, Saharan expressed pride in his team's performance throughout the tournament, acknowledging their fighting spirit. He stated, "There have been a lot of learnings, right from the start to now. I just want to take all the learnings from this tournament and move forward in my career."
