In a rapid succession of updates, Samsung is expanding the Android 14 rollout to more devices, including the Galaxy A54, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5. Building on recent updates to the S23 and S22 families, Samsung's One UI 6, paired with Android 14, is making its way to numerous models.
The Galaxy A54's update has commenced on AT&T in the U.S., while the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are first experiencing the update through Verizon. The Galaxy S23 FE update is more widespread but currently affects models with Samsung's Exynos SoC, with the U.S. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model set to follow shortly.
As with previous Samsung updates, the rollout may be staged, and users are advised to be patient as the update propagates across carriers and countries in the coming weeks.
The updated devices will benefit from the latest One UI 6 features, including enhancements to the quick settings panel, Samsung DeX, lock screen customization, improved camera controls, new widgets, and a fresh emoji style in the Samsung keyboard.
Samsung has outlined a schedule for further updates, with several devices set to receive the One UI 6 update by November 30, including the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Galaxy A72, Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Galaxy A04s, Galaxy XCover 5, and Galaxy A25 5G are slated for updates in the first and second weeks of December.
For users eager to update their Samsung Galaxy phones to One UI 6, the process is simple: ensure sufficient battery charge and a stable connection, then navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. As the rollout progresses, users can expect the update to reach various countries, including India, in the coming weeks. The Galaxy S23 series has already received the latest Android OS update in India. 📱🔄
