"Shagun Attri from Chandigarh Shines Globally with Prestigious UK Chevening Scholarship"
Shagun Attri, a resident of Chandigarh has been selected for the UK Government's Chevening Scholarship funded by the Foreign Development and Commonwealth Office (FCDO), UK.
Every year, over 60,000 applications are submitted from all over the world, but only 2% are selected.
The programme began in 1983 and has since developed a vast alumni network, including state heads, policymakers, and civil servants globally. Chevening scholars have a saying: "Once a Chevener, always a Chevener."
Shagun has a background in organisational behaviour, advocacy, and psychology. With fully funded support of the Chevening Award, she will pursue an MSc in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Shagun Attri did her 11th and 12th studies in Chandigarh, and is an alumnus of Christ University, Bengaluru and XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Applications are open for the Chevening batch of 2025-26.
