The Ambani wedding has nothing less than a reunion for many! KKR owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was seen embracing a warm hug with outgoing team mentor Gautam Gambhir during the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant wedding in Mumbai.

In a viral video, Khan was seen warmly embracing the newly appointed head coach Gambhir. The two men then engaged in an animated conversation.

Gambhir frequently praised Shah Rukh Khan’s unwavering support during his time with the Kolkata Knight Riders, both as a player and a mentor.

“I have repeatedly expressed that SRK has been the best owner I have ever worked with. This has nothing to do with my return to KKR. In fact, during the 7 years I captained the team, we barely discussed cricket for more than 70 seconds. Remarkably, he never once asked me a single question about cricket during that entire period. Can you believe that?”

Gambhir had returned to the franchise this year and led KKR to the IPL 2024 title triumph. However, the former India opener would soon depart his mentorship role to take on the India head coach position.
