Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic converted their third match point to beat fifth seeds Rohan Bopanna and Ivan Dodig 7-6(5), 2-6, [14-12] in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the $10,298,535 ATP Masters tennis tournament in Shanghai, China, on Tuesday.

The Indo-Croat pair collected 90 ATP points and $34,100. In the $164,000 Challenger in Hangzhou, China, alternate entrant Ramkumar Ramanthan beat Illya Marchenko of Ukraine 6-7(8), 6-4, 6-4 in the first round.
