Shorthand is  a language.

It is an abbreviated symbolic writing method. It increases the speed of writing. The process of writing in short hand is called Stenography. The main work of a stenographer is to type and take dictation in the sort and language and then two transcribe it in English language or Hindi language. It is said that English language and comprehension is best to become a stenographer. The best age limit for becoming a stenographer is 18 to 27 years.

Candidates would have completed dear intermediate and have a certificate in the Stenography course. This course need a typing speed of 25 words per minute and certain 80 words per minute.
