Shraddha Kapoor Was Initially Considered for Triptii Dimri's Role

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, fresh off her success with "Stree 2," was originally in line for a leading role in the upcoming romantic comedy "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video," which stars Triptii Dimri. Director Raaj Shandilyaa revealed that while Shraddha was a top choice, he ultimately decided to cast Triptii because Rajkummar Rao, who stars alongside her, was already working with Shraddha in "Stree 2."

Shandilyaa also considered other actresses like Nushrratt Bharuccha and Bhumi Pednekar but opted for Triptii after being impressed with her previous performances. The film, which also features Mallika Sherawat, is set to release on October 11, 2024, and will face competition from Alia Bhatt's "Jigra."
