So Ji Sub, Gong Myung, and Others Confirmed For Noir Drama "Mercy For None" + Lee Joon Hyuk and Cha Seung Won To Appear
The cast of Netflix's new series "Mercy for None" has been confirmed!
On October 27, the cast of "Mercy for None" was released, which included So Ji Sub, Heo Joon Ho, Ahn Gil Kang, Lee Bum Soo, Gong Myung, Choo Young Woo, and Jo Han Chul. In addition, the cast list promised the debuts of Cha Seung Won and Lee Joon Hyuk.
Based on a webtoon, "Mercy for None" tells the story of two gangs that survived a battle for power in Seoul in front of the National Assembly Plaza in Yeouido. The plot revolves around a man who begins to unearth truths when his younger brother dies unexpectedly.
As a result, Ji Sub will take on the character of Gi Jun, the guy who slits his own heel and flees the world of gangs. So Ji Sub, returning to the noir action genre for the first time in 11 years since his film "A Company Man," is already generating buzz for his portrayal of Gi Jun's icy mission for vengeance.
Lee Joon Hyuk, star of "Stranger" and "The Roundup: No Way Out," will make a cameo appearance in the drama as Gi Jun's younger brother Gi Seok.
Gi Seok expanded his organization Joowoon into a business and became an executive director after leaving his older brother, but he dies mysteriously, initiating a fresh mystery.
Heo Joon Ho will portray CEO Lee Joo Woon of the Joowoon group, of which Gi Jun was a member, while Ahn Gil Kang will play Gu Bong San, the head of the opposition organization Bongsan. Heo Joon Ho previously enthralled audiences with his magnetism in "Kingdom," "Escape from Mogadishu," and the "Missing: The Other Side" series, while Ahn Gil Kang enthralled audiences in a variety of projects, including "Sell Your Haunted House" and "Tale of the Nine-Tailed Cat."
