Social media is the new cool of the generation. Someone who is not on instagram is considered even irrelevant sometimes. From orkut to facebook to instagram, social media is ever changing and expanding. Its true that now every app has become tinder wherein people are just looking for other people to pass their time and mindlessly scrolling. But it is also true that social media has helped us to connect with our mates and be through with the news of the world around us.

Now criticising social media has become the new cool. However, used judiciously social media can be a real blessing. Helping one connect, form meaningful connections, keep up to date with news, be well versed in research and so forth.

For this we must be organised in what terms we would like to use social media and use it judiciously.
