Sonakshi responded to Zaheer Iqbal's  birthday message with multiple heart emojis. Varun Sharma, Nupur Sanon, Priyank Sharma and Saqib Saleem gave loving comments in response to her reply. Sonakshi and Zaheer are rumored to have been together for quite some time. On the other hand, both claimed to be best friends. In the past, Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen  expressing their love for each other on social media. Salman Khan films were the Bollywood debuts of both of them. While Sonakshi debuted with Dabangg in 2010, Zaheer's most memorable film was Journal in 2019. In the film Double XL, they interacted together.

  Sonakshi's last album Dahaad was a huge hit. It marked her web series debut. In the serial directed by Reema Kagti, he played a tough police officer. The actor told Hindustan Times that the response to the series was "unbelievable, so overwhelming". I get messages from people I haven't talked to in years and I've been contacted by people I don't know in the industry. I was approached by random people in the restaurant, not to take a photo, but rather to express their love for me in Dahaad. At this point I have no idea how to handle this!
