Actors Sonakshi Sinha is now married to Zaheer Iqbal and they both looked like nothing less than a dream come true.

A new video from Sonakshi Sinha's wedding is going viral on social media. The heartwarming footage shows Sonakshi walking beneath a traditional 'phoolon ka chaddar', a canopy of flowers held up by her friends and actor Saqib Saleem, who is like a brother figure in her life.

In the video, Sonakshi visibly becomes emotional as she walks up to her soulmate, Zaheer, on the big day.

For those unversed, Phoolon ka chaddar in a Punjabi wedding refers to a canopy made of flowers that is held over the bride's head as she makes her entrance. It is a traditional and symbolic element of the wedding procession, often accompanied by music and dancing, signifying the bride's arrival and her special status on her wedding day. This canopy of flowers adds to the grandeur and auspiciousness of the occasion in Punjabi weddings. It is typically carried by female relatives or friends of the bride or brothers.

Her brothers were also spotted earlier in the evening as they made their way to the venue.

Although there were many speculations and concerns regarding her wedding, but all is well that ends well. Though she came under immense scrutiny with rumors also circulating that her father, actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, was allegedly upset with her for not informing him about her wedding plans.

And also her brothers not being supportive, as earlier, Luv Sinha had reacted to the reports of her sister's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in a conversation with ETimes. Luv, who is reportedly out of the city, chose to remain tight-lipped about the matter. He told ETimes, "I'm out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it's regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter."
