It is absolutely sickening to me that the Soros-backed DA, Deborah Gonzalez, didn’t seek the death penalty against the monster who murdered Laken Riley.

Gonzalez opposed the death penalty since day one, and she’s made it a mission of hers to prevent, quote “collateral consequences” for quote “undocumented defendants.” Make no mistake here, yes, prosecutors will oftentimes not seek the death penalty in order to secure an easier conviction. But that was not the reasoning here. This was an easy case.

Now, Laken Riley’s killer will live out the remainder of his life getting three square meals a day on the tax payers dime. Maybe he’ll join a gang behind bars, make friends. His life will be altered completely, but he’ll still be alive, he’ll still be living just under different circumstances. At some point, he’ll come to terms with that and it will become normal for him. But Laken Riley doesn’t get that option.
