Elon Musk’s SpaceX, for the first time in history, landed the largest and most powerful rocket ever built, the Starship, back on the launch tower that it took off from.

Amazing.

Reusable rockets were once a dream, but spaceX has made it a reality. Not only do reusable rockets make space travel cheaper, but it also reduces the amount of space junk circulating in our planet’s orbit which, today, researchers estimate exceeds 100 trillion pieces of space junk.

Elon Musk has for years been a major proponent of making humanity a multi planet species, and with the technology he’s making, and making fast, he is bringing us close and close to that reality.

It was just 9 years ago, December of 2015, when SpaceX landed its first original rocket. Today, landing rockets has become easy for them. Who knows where we’ll be in another 10 years from now.
