Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel Emphasizes the Vital Role of Tibetan Youth Congress in Preserving Tibetan Identity and Aspirations

On the 7th of October, 2023, Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel graced the 53rd founding anniversary of the Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA). In his address, the Speaker lauded TYC's dedication and pivotal role within the Tibetan community as one of the largest Tibetan Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) worldwide. He underscored the importance of diverse perspectives in Tibetan society's democratic context and commended Tibetans, led by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, for their remarkable achievements in exile.

Furthermore, Khenpo Sonam Tenphel praised the Central Tibetan Administration for preserving Tibetan culture, language, and religion, emphasizing the preservation of Tibetan Buddhism's authentic essence in exile.
