Love the series
Watching Stanley Tucci as Jefferson Grieff in Inside Man streaming on Netflix was a pleasure. The hand-cuffed criminal keeps himself calm and cool before people who seek his brilliance as a criminology professor in interpreting the darker side of human minds. Shots paired with Dillon, another dreadful convict in the visitors’ room were gripping with their chemistry wrapped in dark humor. Atkins Estimond is rushing to stardom with his recent appearances.
The subtle smile on Tucci’s face when Dillon tells him – you like her because you spoke a lot- is one of many expressions I am dragged to this inimitable actor. The attorney Mitchell Garabedian representing victims of sexual abuse in Spotlight is my favourite in his career. His fans can never forget Caesar Flickerman in Hunger Games. He is a show stealer when he explains something. I loved his answers to the investigation journalist Beth (Lydia West), genuine expressions of Lydia make it real. But I am not convinced of the scenes she was sent out for investigation. The conversations connecting two adjacent cells in Death row where Jefferson and Dillon cook their probable theories on cases were engaing.
Steven Moffat’s choice of actors for his dark thriller Inside Man is very thoughtful. The ‘Doctor’ star David Tennant also comes as a turbulent vicar in this series.
I haven’t watched it fully. Note me your views.
