On August 2, the drama "My Girlfriend Is a Tough Guy" revealed its main cast lineup, including Sanha, Arin, Yoo Jung Hoo, and Chuu.

Based on a webtoon, "My Girlfriend Is a Tough Guy" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Yoon Jae, whose girlfriend unexpectedly turns into a man.

Sanha will portray Park Yoon Jae, a diligent astronomy student at Yeonhee University who wakes up one day to find his girlfriend has turned into a man. Sanha, who made his acting debut in the 2015 web drama “To Be Continued,” has shown his acting skills in various projects, including the dramas “Soul Plate,” “Love Formula 11M,” “Your Playlist,” and “Crazy Love.” Sanha is expected to convincingly portray Park Yoon Jae, who faces emotional ups and downs, solidifying his position as a leading actor in rom-com dramas.

Arin, known for her stable acting in dramas such as “Alchemy of Souls,” “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow,” and “O’PENING 2023: Summer, Love Machine, Blues,” will take on the female lead role in "My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy." Arin will play Park Yoon Jae’s girlfriend, Kim Ji Eun, who transforms into a handsome man due to a family genetic trait. Arin is anticipated to vividly depict her character’s emotional journey.

Yoo Jung Hoo will transform into Kim Ji Hoon, the male version of Kim Ji Eun, who faces major crises in her life and relationships with the people around her, including Park Yoon Jae. Yoo Jung Hoo, known for his roles in web dramas such as “Bad Girlfriend,” “New Love Playlist,” and “BITCH X RICH,” as well as the drama “Durian’s Affair,” is garnering attention for how he will portray the handsome Kim Ji Hoon with Kim Ji Eun’s inner self.

Chuu will star as Kang Min Joo, a popular girl at Yeonhee University who has a crush on Park Yoon Jae. Chuu will immerse herself in the character Kang Min Joo and will become deeply entangled with Park Yoon Jae, Kim Ji Eun, and Kim Ji Hoon, heightening anticipation for the chemistry between the four cast members.
