I understand your frustration, I do. However, to reject and dismiss the problems caused by a community because of your personal problems is ignorant and tonedeaf.

Older people being "stuck up" is not a reason enough why they shouldn't get a job. That's one of the stereotypes if anything. And what are they supposed to be if not in a foul mood when they're not taken seriously, are dismissed, aren't accepted in interviews - all because they're older.

No amount of reasoning would justify why a set of people should go hungry. Your post talks more about personal frustration than the understanding of the issue.
