Imagine you are holding a bag of groceries ! If you carry if for two minutes and walk to the car , it’s no problem . If you carry it for a 20 minutes and walk home , you might get and ache in your arm . If you carry it for a 2 hours , your arm will feel numb and tired ! The weight of the groceries doesn’t change , but the longer you carry it , the heavier it becomes !
Stress and worries in life are like the bag of groceries ! Carry them for a while , and nothing will happen ! Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt . Carry them too long and you will feel numb and burned out ! Don’t try to carry stress and worries for too long ! Seek for help and talk to someone about it . Carrying stress and worries for too long is bad for your mental health .
And remember - Just because someone can carry it well , doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy !
