Found this picture in my gallery today and the first thing it reminded me of was my Nani's house. It's the month of June and all the schools in North India are closed at this time. It's the time for SUMMER VACATIONS!!🍧⛱️🥭👕 The most awaited time of the year🤩
I just realised it's been 5 years since I got out of school, but whenever I look back at those beautiful days, it feels like a golden period of my life💖 For most of us, summer break meant going to our Nani's House.🏡 The place where all our tantrums are welcomed in a heartwarming way and where you are treated in an extra special manner😎
Yeah, in our childhood we probably might have fought with our parents for taking us for a holiday to a different place as we didn't want to be the only ones in our class who went to their Nani's House just like every year😪
But, keeping those things aside, going to your Nani's house in the summer vacations used to be the best part, seriously!😌💕
My nani and nanu used to live in a village which was 3-4 hours away from my hometown. I had some friends too there, who were around my age. I used to get up early in the morning (around 5) and we used to go around the fields roaming and talking. We used to play ludo, cards, bat-ball (that's what we called it back then 🏏), stapoo and all such games all day long. Life was carefree back then🍃
Since it was a village and not everything was available in the vicinity, my nana ji used to get maggi, rasna, bournvita, and all such things for us beforehand, as we (me & my siblings) liked them. I loved my time there🦋
My nani passed away when I was in class X, and since then, I never went to my Nani's house again. Coz nana ji couldn't live alone, so he lived with my uncles in the city. I don't even remember when was the last time I visited that place. All I have is beautiful, priceless memories of days spent there💝
