It's been 15 days, since Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover went on a sleep.
Both Vikram Lander and Pragyaan rovers rely on solar panels for power. The moon remains in the day phase for around 14 Earth days. So basically, Chandrayaan- 3 is not designed to come back to Earth. During this phase, what remained the key question remained "Chandrayaan-3 will wake up or not?" ISRO shed light on it.
ISRO has shared that Shiv Shakti Point, the designated name by India for the landing spot of the Vikram Lander, is expected to witness sunrise today. ISRO further added on Twitter (now X!) that Vikram and Pragyan will be receiving usable amounts of sunlight soon.
Hope for reconnection? It seems so! Only if the Pragyaan rover and Vikram lander will get enough amount of sunlight to charge up for communication,
Can't wait when Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover to wake up from sleep
