We know that the state of lockdown has been imposed year earlier, but before this India always welcomed tourist in huge numbers to explore its beauty and diversity and inclusion. All these have created in huge pressure on our ecosystem especially at popular tourist destinations. Therefore it becomes incredibly important for us as citizens to give the best authentic experience to these tourists so that they get to see social, cultural as well as environmental outlook of our country. We are likely experiencing trend of taking the environmental cost at more priority than economical cost. We have to onset these popular tourist destinations with an outrage target of moving towards a zero - carbon footprint and thus also maintaining high levels of hygiene. These long term sustainability goals are likely to help us in boosting tourism industry and enhancing overall touristing experience for foreign travellers.
