Swachhta Hi Seva campaign is being run across the country a day ahead of the 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.  From leaders to common people are actively participating in the cleanliness campaign.  State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave the message of cleanliness by sweeping the broom.  At the same time, a cleanliness campaign was conducted on the ghats of Varanasi.  In which public representatives, city officials and school children participated enthusiastically.Minister Ravindra Jaiswal, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, Police Commissioner Ashok Mutha Jain were present at Assi Ghat in Banaras.  Where the sanitation workers who did good work during the Swachhta Pakhwada were honored by the Municipal Corporation.

In the morning at Banaras the Damru group performed the dance of Shiva and Parvati.  After the program, brooms were seen in the hands of ministers, MLAs and officials who were cleaning the ghat.
