Aiming at boosting tourism among visiting foreign and Indian tourists and devotees, the dream project is going to be materialized shortly from January 15. It is a joint initiative of UP Tourism and District administration in the Parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. After completion of Vishwanath Dham Corridor, the number of tourists in the holy city of Kashi has increased a lot. Work is being done on various schemes to promote tourism. In this sequence, the work on setting up of a tent city across the Ganges in Varanasi is in full swing. The local tourism department has aimed at helping tourists and locals enjoy spiritual scene with a wonderful picture . The Varanasi Development Authority , Public Works Department and Tourism department are working jointly to complete this project to boost the tourism and present a wonderful picture of Varanasi among masses .These tents would be given on affordable rent and last till begining of summer. Travels agents for their customers have started booking tents. The local admistrative authorities have been monitoring the final preparation of the this tourism peoject for its launching from Mid of January.
