Afghanistan's 17-year-old girls football team named "Future FC" left for Sweden from Portugal to participate in the Gothia Cup international football competition. Gothia Cup is one of the biggest youth football tournaments in the world, which is held every year with the participation of about 1700 teams from 80 countries.
After nearly two years, the Afghan girls' football team was formed in Portugal, and now this team is officially participating in football competitions for the first time. The participation of the future FC team in Gothia Cup is very important.
In these competitions, about 4500 matches will be held in 110 football fields in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden.
Future FC girls' football team, under the supervision of "Vida Zamri", the former goalkeeper of the women's national football team, and "Farkhundeh Taghi", the former captain of the Afghanistan women's national football team, was formed in Lisbon, Portugal.
