India defeated Bangladesh by 280 runs on the fourth day of the first Test match played in Chennai and took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. The second and final Test match is now to be played between the two teams at Green Park, Kanpur from September 27. India has retained the same team for this Test match which was announced for the first Test match. It was believed that fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah could be rested from the second Test, but the selectors have included him in the team. Apart from Bumrah, fast bowlers Yash Dayal and Akash Deep have also retained their place, while Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Jurel will also travel with the team. India had landed with three fast bowlers in the Chennai Test. Yash Dayal did not get a place in the playing-11 in this match. Now it remains to be seen whether the team makes any changes in the playing eleven for the Kanpur Test or decides to field the same team.
