The official launch trailer of the upcoming science fiction survival action horror game ‘The Callisto Protocol’ is finally out, and with it we get to see some more of the game’s more vividly disturbing details.

Filled with some gory action scenes, a dark and intense mood and horrific alien abominations stalking dark corners, The Callisto Protocol is made by Striking Distance Studios CEO Glen Schofield, the creative head behind the iconic horror survival Dead Space.

Considered a spiritual successor to Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol takes place on the Callisto moon of Jupiter in a place called Black Iron Prison which has been invaded by monstrous aliens ravaging the prison system.

 The game centers around protagonist Jacob Lee who must survive the bloody onslaught as he encounters horror after horror, as he must tread carefully for in every dark corner a bloody and gruesome death awaits him.

The Callisto Protocol is one of the most anticipated titles of the year as it will bring back the long-awaited sci-fi survival horror that players have missed since the Dead Space trilogy concluded. 

Probably the most cinematic piece of content that the game has shown, it is also likely to be the last before the game releases in December 2, 2022. 

This trailer certainly succeeds when it comes to both communicating a tone and hyping up fans as the response has been highly positive, only boosting the already massive hype for the game.
