As we fasten our seat belts for the remainder of the season, the Champions League returns with some mouth-watering fixtures in store for us.
PSG vs Bayern (15th February)
Star-studded PSG goes head to head against the veterans of the competition in Bayern Munich. As we all know, the ultimate achievement for PSG is to reign supreme in Europe. The Club from Paris came close to achieving the feat in 2020 but was denied their crown by the champions of Germany and their opponents this Wednesday. However, PSG made amends by knocking FCB out in the last editions Champions League. With a plethora of attacking talents at the disposal of both clubs, the tie between the two promises to be a goal fiesta.
AC Milan vs Tottenham (15th February)
The Champions of Italy lock horns with a Spurs team that has struggled for form this season. But their win against the reigning PL champions City could be the turning point that could elevate Tottenham's season. And having a manager like Conte, who knows the Serie A inside out, could be a plus for Spurs going into the clash. Having lost 4 of their previous five matches in the Serie A, the Italian champions like Tottenham are going through a rough patch themselves. Milan's star forward, Rafael Leao, will be watched closely by the top dogs in England, as he has been on the radar of many PL clubs.
Chelsea vs Dortmund (16th February)
High-flying Dortmund faces a rejuvenated Chelsea that has splashed millions in the winter transfer window to ready themselves for big European nights like this one. The club from Germany is in imperious form and is unbeaten in their previous five clashes. Plus, the return of Haller has given them a focal point in their attack. Whereas Chelsea, who has bought lavishly in the winter window, is still finding their feet.
It is perhaps the best time for Dortmund to play the blues. Since the new recruits at Chelsea are still adjusting to life at Stamford Bridge. Jude Bellingham will be the talk of the town as the young midfielder is the next big thing at Dortmund.
