The country's capital New Delhi has got another new Chief Minister. Atishi, who is handling the responsibility of Education Minister in the Aam Aadmi Party government, will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi. Atishi will become the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi. Atishi has been the most powerful minister in the Arvind Kejriwal cabinet. Atishi is considered to be a close associate and confidant of Arvind Kejriwal. Atishi has been active in the organization since the time of the Anna movement.  Atishi, who entered politics during the anti-corruption movement in the year 2012, is among the founding members of the Aam Aadmi Party. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, she was also made a Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi seat, but she lost the election to Gautam Gambhir of BJP. After this, in the year 2020, the party again expressed confidence in Atishi, since then she is an Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Kalkaji assembly seat in Delhi.
