The dumbest goalkeeper in football history!

Back in 1999, Carlos Roa was one of the top goalkeepers in the world and was Argentina’s number one. He was so good that Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign him as a replacement for Peter Schmeichel. But because of his foolishness, he turned down the offer and decided to retire in the weirdest way possible. His club, Mallorca, was about to play the Champions League qualifiers for the 1999-2000 season, but Roa disappeared, and no one could find him.

He had joined a group that believed the world would end in the year 2000, and he took his family to a remote village in the Argentine mountains, preparing for the apocalypse. When the year 2000 came and nothing happened, he decided to return to football, but he had lost his place on the team and his form dropped drastically, forcing him to retire in 2003!
