The mooning gargoyle of Freiburg minster in Germany.
Freiburg Minster is the cathedral of Freiburg. The last duke of Zähringen started the building around 1200 in Romanesque style and the construction continued in 1230 in Gothic style.
Legend has it that a disgruntled stonemason created this gargoyle and positioned in the the direction of the city council building. Council members had commissioned him for some of the stonework of the minster and had not paid him for his work.
