The rise in the water level of Ganga in Varanasi is continuing for the fourth consecutive day. On Saturday, the water level is rising at the rate of 10 cm per hour. Due to the rising water level of Ganga, the operation of boats has been banned once again. According to the Central Water Commission, the water level was rising at the rate of 18 cm per hour on Friday as well. The water level of Ganga was recorded at 67.18 meters at 10 pm. With the increase in the water level, monitoring has been increased. The water level of Ganga in Varanasi was falling since Monday last week. The water level started increasing from Wednesday.
