A whiff of relief amidst the strong winds of bad news in the Wellington Palace.

The Prince and Princess of Wales seemingly celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29 by releasing a never-before-seen photo from their wedding day. The royal wedding of William and Kate took place on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey in London. Their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6, were born between 2013 and 2018.

With the Princess's diagnosis, the couple are facing their biggest obstacle to yet. Kate is pleading for time, space, and solitude while the Princess continues her therapy.

Amidst these difficult times, the pair did not miss out on the chance to celebrate themselves as they shared another never-before-seen photo to commemorate their 12-year wedding anniversary last year, a rather memorable one though it was less formal than this year because of obvious reasons. It featured William and Kate standing over motorcycles, both dressed in jeans and sunglasses. The caption of the photo, which was posted on the couple's social media accounts, said, "13 years ago today!" The royal bride was carrying her bouquet, which was primarily made of lilies of the valley, which are Queen Elizabeth's favourite flower, in the black-and-white photo of Prince William and Princess Kate standing together and grinning. Kate looked stunning in her white Alexander McQueen V-neck gown with lace overlay and Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara, which she wore to the Westminster Abbey church service.

Prince William, meanwhile, was wearing a different clothing from the event. The bridegroom wore the red Irish Guards tunic for their wedding; he was Colonel in Chief of the organisation at the time, but Princess Kate succeeded him in 2022. Later, he switched to the black Blues and Royals outfit seen in the updated picture. These pictures are definitely a delight for the eyes especially after how the ton was worried about the health reports circulating Kate Williams.
