Xenophobia comes from the Greek word Phobos and Xenos; Phobos means fear, and Xenos means strangers, foreigners or outsiders.
There exist people who have this intense fear and dislike of customs, cultures and people considered strange, unusual or unknown.
This word is not as easy as it seems. Instead, it is far more complex as it is often seen in the forms of prejudice, including racism and homophobia. It can discriminate against different communities that are considered outgroups and not part of the ingroup community.
