This is the reality of war. Innocent men laying dead on the grounds of foreign lands. Men who won't get funerals and whose bodies might never be seen again. They won't receive any awards. Their governments won't compensate their families. They are just dead

In the 21st century, we are blessed with all sorts of luxuries that even the most destitute people on earth can access. Every government has the ability to provide food, water, medicine and decent public accommodations to everyone, and to live in peace and harmony.

Yet, ruthless dictators like Putin, Kim Jong-un, and the other warmongers who are in power prefer supremacy over peace. And the cost of that supremacy? This. Men killing one another only becauze their leaders tell them to.

Who profits when civilians get sent to battle? It's not the civilians, let me tell you that. Who risks their lives when soldiers are sent to foreign nations to fight for their countries or causes? It's certainly not the people sending them. War is gross. War is ugly. War is unnecessary. And, tragically, it is inevitable.
