There is a small Brazil in Banaras. The name of the village is Pahadi. And 300 children from 1500 families living here play football. The beautiful thing is that there are more girls than boys among them. Every evening when they go out for the ground wearing their repeatedly stitched shoes, the liveliness looks like a sports village Till 12 years ago, the children of this village used to gamble. They used to wander here and there. Then football player Bhairav ​​Dutt living in the nearby colony brought 3-4 footballs for these children. He got the bushes and pits of the ground cleaned and made it suitable for playing football. Then in the name of goal post, bamboo poles were placed on one side and chairs were placed on the other side.

In the beginning only seven to eight children used to come. Coach Bhairav ​​got kits for them in instalments. He collected money for shoes from here and there. Shrishti, who has played three Nationals, says that it was Bhairav ​​Sir who got her the first kit. She used to go to the ground to see others and wondered if she would be able to play or not. It has been 40 years since Coach Bhairav ​​has been preparing this generation of footballers. The five year old girl who used to come to play on this ground is now 17 years old.
