There is good news for air passengers travelling from Punjab. For the first time, Indigo is starting a direct flight service between Varanasi-Chandigarh. The service will begin in the month of October itself, before Dussehra. Indigo officials have tested the route. There is a plan to operate it thrice a week.If the occupancy between the two cities remains good, then this flight service will become regular. At the same time, Indigo's Jaipur and Goa flight service will start again. According to airport officials, the service which was stopped between Jaipur and Goa is being restored in view of the tourists. The flights will operate during the day only. However, the notification from Indigo has not come yet.
