It's common but it's not normal for anxiety to wreak havoc on your day to day life. Here are common anxiety triggers. It's very important that you to learn and understand what may promote your anxiety;
1 Caffeine - Topping the list. You can't cut it all at once but slowly tapper it off. Go from 3 cups to 2 cups. Then to 1 cup. Switch to decaf.
2 Sleep - Practicing good sleep hygiene & creating a realistic sleep schedule can make a huge difference.
3 Not seeing the sun very often can affect the production of serotonin which can affect your mood.
4 Alcohol, stay away from alcohol. Dont be tricked by the temporary feeling to relaxation.
5 Refined carbohydrates & Sugary desserts. Avoiding processed foods and those high in sugar means that the body experiences lesser highs and lows of blood sugar spikes, which helps to further reduce the feeling of anxiety.
6 Aerated drinks are a no-brainer to avoid. All sugar and no nutrition.
