Most women look pregnant by 19 weeks. Baby 'bumps' come in all shapes and sizes, so don't worry if your looks bigger or smaller than other women at the same stage of pregnancy.
You doctor or midwife will feel and measure your tummy just so they make sure that the baby is growing as it should.
Not only will your abdomen be large and round, you may also find your feet grow as well. This because your ligaments are stretching as you are carrying your baby. Your breasts will be larger and you will be curvier overall.
Some women might find their changing shape affecting how they feel about themselves and their relationships. Open communication is the key to clear out fears, stress or changes to your sex life that pregnancy might bring.
Some women develops anxiety or depression during their pregnancy period. And one may be at risk if you have had a mental health problem in the past. Symptoms includes the following:
• Panic attack
• Worries most of the time
• Mood swings
• Sad and low all the time
• Feeling on edge
• Lack of interest in friends and family
• Feeling exhausted
• Thoughts on self harm
• Over sleeping or lack of sleep
If you experience this for than 2 weeks when you're pregnant, it's important to tell your doctor. Prenatal depression and anxiety are common and they are treatable.
