By no means should we be overlooking Bournemouth today. Clearly we go into the game as the far superior team and this could really be an opportunity to improve our goal difference and continue growing in confidence. Yet, Bournemouth are a team fighting for their lives and no team in this league should be overlooked.

In spite of this, I think today is a big opportunity to make use of our ever improving squad depth. Players like Tierney, Vieira and Smith Rowe are all more than good enough to seamlessly come into this team and allow our most important players a rest.

Vieira in particular is a player I’d love to see more of today. In the glimpses we’ve seen of him previously he’s shown a threatening ball striking ability and a final ball that can create chances at will. Nonetheless, the opportunities he’s been given so far have generally been limited and often surrounded by lesser second team players. Give Ødegaard a well earned rest and allow Fabio the chance to prove himself.

It’s a long and hard season, lets use our resources wisely.
