Get around a queasy tummy
At around 4 weeks of pregnancy, you may just start your feel nauseous and experience aversions to some foods, smells and textures. If that's the case then you can consider eating snacks first thing in the morning and consider asking your partner to prepare food for you so that you don't feel sick before it's even time to start.
Switch when you take your vitamin
You can continue with your prenatal vitamin, but unfortunately some people might find taking prenatal vitamins in the morning or during the day could already have queasy tummy over the edge. If your prenatal makes you morning sickness worse then try to take it along with small snack before bed or split the does so you take a half in the morning and half at night.
Get your vitamin D
For both you and your baby, you need vitamin D to support calcium absorption and help build or maintain healthy teeth and bones. So try to get at least 15 minutes of sun everyday to start, then look into your diet. Fortified milk products, eggs, sardines and salmon are all excellent options of vitamin D.
Sneak healthy foods into yummy snacks
If you’re still having trouble in stomaching the wholesome foods you need for a pregnancy and baby, then Hide'em! Try sneaking dark, leafy greens into fruit smoothie along with blueberries, mango and banana. Ground or finely chopped meat could also be hidden in saucy dishes. Tofu could go with many recipes. You can get creative and include many healthy ingredients in many ways.
