As a fully vaccinated person, I am hoping the world can get back into some sort of normal. The last year has been a challenge for everyone.

Thankfully wearing masks has decreased the incidence of the flu this season and the COVID numbers seem to be reacting positively, but we can’t let our guard down. I have definitely learned the importance of hygiene. Why wouldn’t I wash or sanitize my hands after shopping, bowling, working out at the gym, or anything else that made it necessary for me to touch random things?!? It just makes sense!

As for the mask or no mask issue, for fully vaccinated folks like me, I want to protect my fellow people. I could be a carrier and would not want to contaminate my fellow people who decide not to or who cannot be vaccinated at this time. As for those who are not vaccinated, it’s your decision as to your level of comfortability to go mask-less. I hope you decide to wear a mask or get vaccinated given the efficacy rates and low rates of severe side effects. We should do our part to end this pandemic!
