Tom Cruise's record has been broken by actress Kate Winslet, who held her breath for an incredible seven minutes and fifteen seconds while filming "Avatar: The Way Of Water." The typical human has a one- to two-minute breath-holding capacity.
As per MD, the 47-year-old actress who portrays Ronal in the eagerly awaited sequel submerged herself for seven minutes and fifteen seconds. On the filming of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation," Cruise is renowned for holding his breath for six minutes.
Winslet was so pleased with her swimming abilities that she snuck her husband onto the site during filming to record the scene.
She said, “I actually have a video of when I surface, she remarked at a press conference before the movie's premiere.
“I couldn*t believe that it was 7.15 but having been told it*s 7.15”
