#7 Santillana (578 appearances)
His time at Real Madrid, which lasted for 17 La Liga seasons and 645 competitive games, is what made him most famous. He joined the team in 1971 after leaving Racing de Santander.
Santillana, who has more than 50 caps for Spain, has competed for his country in two World Cups and the same number of European Championships.
Santillana went on to win nine league championships, four Copa del Reys, and back-to-back UEFA Cups, scoring in each of those finals.
He scored 290 goals in 645 first-team games, setting a record that remained until Manolo Sanchis broke it in the 1997–98 season. While he is the eighth-highest first-division scorer of all time with 186 goals in 461 games, he has never won the Pichichi Award.
