The top women's football competition in England is the Women's Super competition (WSL), also known as the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) due to funding. It was founded in 2010 and is managed by the Football Association. Twelve completely professional clubs are present.

#1 Kerys Harrop- 178 Appearances
Kerrys is a center defender/wing-back for the English football team Tottenham Hotspur in the FA WSL. Harrop was a member of the Under 19 team that won the 2009 European Championships in Belarus as well as the Under 19 and 23 national teams for England. She also competed for Great Britain on the squad that took home the gold at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan. She assisted Birmingham City Ladies in winning the FA Cup in 2012[4] and advancing to the quarterfinals of the Champions League in 2014.
#2 Kate Longhurst- 177 Appearances
Colchester United was where Longhurst started her journey. She appeared in 21 games and tallied 15 goals in 2007-2008. She made 11 starts the following season and registered 3 goals. She signed premier league club Watford in 2009, and she ended the 2009–10 campaign with three goals in 17 games. At the conclusion of the campaign, she joined Millwall Lionesses. Longhurst signed Chelsea in 2011. In the 101st minute of the FA Women's Cup Final from 2012, she got the second goal for the Blues.
