1. MG Gloster Facelift:
MG Gloster is gearing up for its first significant mid-life update in 2022. The facelift promises notable changes to the front and rear profiles, along with interior revisions and enhanced tech features. With the existing engine options, the Gloster aims to pose a strong challenge to the Fortuner.
2. Nissan X-Trail:
Expected to launch in 2025, the fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail enters the Indian market via the CBU route. Offering a 1.5-litre petrol engine with strong hybrid technology, it will compete with SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
3. New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq:
The next-gen Skoda Kodiaq, debuting globally in 2023, is set to arrive in India by the end of 2024. Based on the MQB-EVO platform, it boasts increased dimensions, offering enhanced cabin space. Priced above Rs. 40 lakh, it features a 2.0-litre petrol engine, providing formidable competition.
4. New Volkswagen Tiguan:
The third-generation Volkswagen Tiguan, launching internationally in 2024, presents a major design update on the MQB-EVO platform. With various engine options, including mild hybrid petrol and turbo diesel, it is expected to reach the Indian market in 2025 via the CBU route.
