Anil Kumar, a bright and shy young man from Banda, had an extraordinary journey.

Despite being the son of a bus conductor, he earned a spot in the Navodaya Vidyalaya for talented students and received a scholarship for JEE coaching, leading to his admission to IIT Delhi.

However, tragedy struck on September 1 when 21-year-old Anil was discovered lifeless in his hostel room.

His mother, Vidya Devi, 45, who used to wait under their guava tree for her beloved "Lalla" to return home, found herself in an ambulance, accompanying her son's covered body back to their home in Banda.

This heartbreaking incident marked the end of her hopes and waiting days. Anil's untimely demise has left a profound void in their lives.
