Amidst layoffs and chaos on Twitter, on Friday morning the Twitter website went down with users across the world facing trouble.

Many users reported problems with the app and stated that they were unable to log into the website. A popup that reads "Something went wrong, but don't worry - try again" appears when the feed page first loads.

The Twitter web was not loading and showed a crash message to the users. However, the mobile app continued to work fine at the time of writing this story.
