Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Friday discussed a range of regional and global issues with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock. Jaishankar also had a good conversation with German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck. He described the 7th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC) meeting as a successful meeting on social media platform X. He also shared pictures of the meeting. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is on a three-day visit to India. Scholz met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with PM Modi, he also co-chaired the 7th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC) meeting. The Ministry of External Affairs posted on X, saying, "It was a pleasure to meet the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock after the successful meeting of the IGC today. During this, a number of regional and global issues were discussed. As it enters its 25th year, our strategic partnership continues to deepen."
