Tata Motors has offered a tantalizing glimpse of the forthcoming Tata Harrier facelift. While the teaser video focuses on the front end of the SUV, it reveals significant updates. Notably, the SUV adopts the refreshed design language seen in the new Tata Nexon and Nexon EV. The teaser showcases revamped vertically stacked LED headlights, a sleeker grille, and a broad LED DRL strip across the bonnet's width.
Though the rear and profile remain undisclosed in the teaser, spy shots hint at new alloy wheels, dynamic turn indicators, and connected LED taillights. While the interior is yet to be revealed, expectations are high for a redesigned cabin featuring a larger touchscreen, digital driver's display, ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, auto climate control, and cruise control.
Safety is expected to be bolstered with six airbags, ESP, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS. Under the hood, the facelift may offer a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine alongside the existing 2.0-litre diesel unit. Anticipated to launch in November 2023, the Tata Harrier facelift is poised to compete with rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, and top variants of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos."
