US President Joe Biden departed for Vietnam following his attendance at the G20 Summit and a visit to Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial in India's capital, Delhi.

This marked his first visit to India as President, where he arrived on Friday for the G20 summit and held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During their extensive 50-minute conversation, both leaders expressed a commitment to further enhance the bilateral major defense partnership.

They welcomed progress in India's procurement of 31 drones and the joint development of jet engines.

Biden also actively participated in crucial sessions of the G20 Summit during his stay in India.
